mp3 player

Postby gsfreeman on Thu May 07, 2009 7:29 am

I'm not even close to being an expert with computers so I need a little help. I have a mp3 player that says windows is required to use it. I previously had windows and the mp3 player worked fine with it. I usually just rip my cd's then load the mp3 player with my music (worked using windows). I can't get it to work with Linux Mint yet. Anyone have any ideas how to get it to work? When I plug in my mp3 player there is an icon on the destop and I can get into the file however when I copy cd's it won't store the music in the correct files. Everything comes up in misc. files and won't seperate them into the song title, artist file....and so on. Anyone have any ideas?....Thanks for any help.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

i had to, with my mp3, put the songs in a folder named first by the title of the album then by the artist; if this seems super obvious it took me so long to figure it out. ex. jack johnson>In between dreams> banana pancakes.wav
