QUOTE:
In the case of Jaunty's PulseAudio, there already exists one "master" bug tracking the most common complaints of:
* my sound is inaudible on GNOME session login
* my sound disappears randomly while using GNOME
* music and/or video applications seem to hang or crash while using GNOME

Re: PulseAudio = the master bug
Beautiful! I love the title, the master bug! I also loove how all the PulseAudio guys always make sure we know that these are ALSA bugs that PulseAudio is uncovering! Great! Fine! But the thing is I never had a problem with all these ALSA bugs BEFORE PulseAudio came along!
Eh, PulseAudio is happening whether we want it or not. It will all work out in the end. Till then;
Can you hear me now?

Thank you too, friends!
It is so nice to meet sensible people.
PulseAudio seems to be a kind of Cargo Cult,
a sort of Vailala Madness

I would strongly recommend to read this book:

Mambu: A Study of Melanesian CArgo Movements and Their Ideological Background by Kenelm Burridge (Paperback - 1970)
2 Used & new from $3.00
You see, the best books are not very expensive.
