If you just want to put MP3 files onto a CD any of the burning software will do it?

You need to make a DATA disc, not an AUDIO one and simply copy the files/folders to it.

If you want to take .mp3's and make a CDA, then the one I use is k3b. There are other burner apps that will also do this for you in Linux.

Doing this will record the MP3 as CD audio,I want to record an MP3 CD as MP3 audio so that I can put over 200 tracks on one CD.

k3b will only burn cd audio,I want to burn to mp3 audio not cd audio.A windows example of this is Xilisoft_MP3_CD_Burner.This gives you the choice of burning the CD as an audio file or as an MP3 file.Burned as an MP3 file I can put over 200 tracks on the cd.

K3B works perfectly (for me) creating a data disk of mp3's . . :?:

WRONG! open K3B, choose create new DATA project (new data CD if your using an older version) and simply drag and drop the files into the project window. You are using the Audio project (yeah I know music's audio but in this case it's DATA) which converts the files into WAV format to play on a CD player. Also, if you use it with a DVD as a DATA project you will get 1000 songs on a disk.

DATA, not AUDIO, get it now?

Are you trying to burn "a movie" with Mint or Windows 7? I have no experience of Windows 7.

If your trying with Mint what burning software are you using?

Are you trying to make a "normal" Video DVD to play on a DVD player? If so what type of video files do you want to put on it?

Get back to me with this info before we can go any further.
