Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Yes, I think it's using something called "activeX" :)

Thanks Clem....

Is there anything software for linux that does the same thing?

Also, is there a linux driver for Lexmark Printer x1270, can;t seem to find one. I don't think there is a driver for this particular model...Hope so

I think that most videos on AOL's site are also available on YouTube. And YouTube works perfectly under Linux if you got the Flash-plugin installed.

You should find all relevant info there.

And here is a section about suggested printers which work under Linux: http://www.freestandards.org/en/OpenPrinting/Database/SuggestedPrinters

I personally would always go with HP's printers. With very very few exceptions that do not work at all (you can almost count them with one hand!) most of their printers work out of the box with Linux and deliver the same functionality and quality as they would under Windows. HP's printers are listed here ... The level of compatibility with Linux that HP delivers with its printers is just mindblowing, just look at the long list of printers that are known to work perfectly.
