Fix for no sound Totem+xine streaming Real audio

Post by Husse »

If you view streaming real audio (.ram) you may experience that there is no sound.
Open ~/.xine/catalog.cache, find the section
[/usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.1.4/xineplug_decode_real_audio.so]
Change decoder_priority=5 to decoder_priority=10.
Did it for me

Just to clarify, ~ is your Home and /.xine is a hidden file. so ~/.xine is like /your home/.xine

To see the hidden files in Nautilus you should have in a menu an option 'see the hidden files'. Click on it et voilà
