Midi Files

Postby npap on Fri Dec 29, 2006 7:45 am

Hello everybody,
I just found out that XMMS with the Midi plugin will play midi files thru Timidity.
The advantage is that you can add play lists to it.

But after trying it a few times I found out that it freezes. It plays one file and afterwards you can't use it again.

Thanks for the tip npap,

I look forward to the day that some serious work is done on midi by developers. It would be good if the "just works" philosophy was extended to midi. All the music development programs rely on it...
