I use Linux Mint 8 for some month, and recently I have connected a HDMI video cable from my video board (NVidia GT220) to my TV. But, it is impossible to have sound directly on the HDMI cable.
My HDMI output is "sound capable" (it works on Windows with NVidia driver)
But, on LM8, the sound still on the analog output and I did not found where to "pipe" the output to the HDMI.
I searched for a solution on different forum, but did not found a solution.
It was talking about SPDIF, but I did not found it on AlsaMixer.
Here is some informations about my configuration :
aplay -l :
Code: Select all
**** Liste des PLAYBACK périphériques ****
carte 0: Intel [HDA Intel], périphérique 0 : ALC662 rev1 Analog [ALC662 rev1 Analog]

If you have some ideas about what to do, it will be great...
Thanks.
