The Flashplayer extension keeps crashing in Firefox 3.6.3. I have tried to reinstall the Flashplayer and I keep getting an error message say it does not recognice the channel-partner isadora. I'm not having any issue with Opera, I can watch Flashplayer content without any issues. Does any one have any suggestions? This is the second machine that I set up with isadora and I had a similar issue. The main difference between these two systems is this one is a Pentium 4 box and the other is an amdx2.

How did you install adobe flashplugin?

Try this in terminal if you have not already (for 32-bit)

I tried to install the 64 bit version using this link and downloading the .deb http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

It worked on my AMD machine, but it fails on my Intel P4 system.

Is it possible that the P4 system does not have a 64bit processor? I know some are and some are not 64 bit. Assuming it is 64bit, I have seen some posts stating that they had to use the plugin with the nspluginwrapper package. Here is a post for one solution. There are other solutions in that same thread.

the P4 is a 2.8ghz (Prescott) and it supports 64Bit. I'm using it right now typing out this reply and it works fine except for flash content in Firefox.

By the beard of Jupiter, I thinks its fixed. I reinstalled Firefox and downloaded the latest Adobe plug-in and by the Trident of Poseidon it worked.
