Audio transcoder application

Post by alpha1 »

which one works best?
My main purpose is to transcode from a flac to mp3, ogg to mp3, wav to mp3.
And all the possibilities amongst them.

I need an application that can do all vbr, quality etc - and preserve the info tags.

I could do the same on Windows with f00bar.

I just use Soundconverter for this. Easy, and simple.
If you accept - and I do - that freedom of speech is important, then you are going to have to defend the indefensible. That means you are going to be defending the right of people to read, or to write, or to say, what you don't say or like or want said.

lemem check it out.
I tried this gnormalize to do the same thing along with volume normalization.

The transcoding works - however - I was unable to get the normalization done!
