Easy way to switch sound output between headphones speakers

Well I guess my hardware either isn't that great or isn't fully supported ... I'll certainly try to make sure my next laptop is better supported but this one was virtually free, and I'll use it until it gives up the ghost

My laptop also shows only 1 output and is not able to play sound on both speakers and headphones simultaneously. Only one of them at a time is possible. This is very common and (at me) not a problem with Linux.
Intel hardware should be supported without any problem.
