Hauppauge Wintv 1600 help

If I have read correctly, Hauppauge drivers are loaded in the Linux kernel as they are released. The Hauppauge site says no support for the 1600 yet. Has anyone gotten this model to work with older drivers?

From what I can find it's not working in Linux (or Vista) and probably crappy....

I keep getting decoder errors when I try to setup the card in Vista. You might be right.
