playback problems? i think
Well i have just began to download songs and when i was listening to them its like they are mashed togather(the single song) it just sounds like shit and i know its not the file because it plays back fine off my flash drive in my car. im wondering if im missing a codec or something.. please any suggestions would be awesome. i appreciate it

So you have a music file, and not a music stream from the internet (those can get garbled). Is it a MP3 or OGG file, or some exotic format? I'd suggest you try with a different music player. Perhaps you have Banshee as current default, try Rhythmbox, or vice versa. You may also try just hovering your mouse over the file in your file browser, usually this will preview the music also.

it is an mp3 and i was using movie player( it was default) now its working
