Sony Bravia TV Minidlna not playing mp4, Flv etc

Was using Minidlna with Sony Bravia KDL-32EX503 TV, it was Minidlna restricting the file types such as mp4, FLAC, flv etc, not Sony. Changed dlna server to Serviio problem solved, all file types now play including Freeview HD recordings transcoded to mp4 using Mythtranscode and Vlc. Serviio now recommended by Sony.

Where do I put the video and pictures I want to share to my Sony TV.
After installing does anything need changing?
My TV can see the server, but there are no videos, even though I have videos in my Video folder in /home/user/Videos/

# * "P" for pictures (eg. media_dir=P,/var/lib/minidlna/pictures)
# * "V" for video (eg. media_dir=V,/var/lib/minidlna/videos)
