Wintv PVR USB 2 - Help?

Hi,
I've been using Ubuntu for a while on a dual boot - great distro but I am very new to Linux and so not very good with editing files and compiling stuff.
I recently heard of Linux Mint and from what I have heard and read about it looks perfect for what I want.......downloaded but not yet tried it.

I do have one question regarding my WINTV PVR USB2 tv card before I install. I was wondering if Linux Mint would configuring everything for me during installation leaving me just MythTV to install afterwards?.......Or is there an easy way to install the drivers my self? (very new to Linux generally and and trying to not rely from M$ Windows.....this is the last major issue I have)

If it's not so easy, will this be something that Linux Mint will incorporate in future versions?

I believe the drivers for this is already install in the kernel.(video4linux)
