Ubuntu Studio Package

I recently installed the ubuntu studio packages in Daryna and haven't had any problems at all. Just that now I have a different (i'm guessing ubuntu) package manager that shows up in the icon tray with new updates every so often. Can find it anywhere in the menu though. Can someone shed some light on this for me? I may have posted in the wrong place so sorry if I did.

you probably downloaded its update manager, I guess it comes alongside of what you installed.
Ubuntu and most of its spin offs share the same update manager.

I think I did. Thanks. I'll go back in and check it out. It's not causing any problems just seemed a little weired.
