Hello everyone,
yesterday I bought a new motherboard Asus ITX-220 (On-board Celeron 220 @ 1.2 GHz, 533 mHz FSB, 512KB L2), 2GB RAM DDR2-800 (but works on 533 mHz since the m/b supports only that RAM speed), Intel GMA950 integrated graphics on Intel 945GC and ICH7 chipsets, 80GB HDD.

Since I installed Mint 8 Helena 64 bit, I noticed a very strange behaviour - whenever I want to suspend the machine, it suspends but immediately wakes up after! And the display also doesn't turn off when the PC is idle.
In the BIOS, S1 & S3 are chosen automatically and the ACPI 2.0 option is enabled. I also noticed there's no "/etc/X11/xorg.conf".
Can this behaviour be because of the new KMS and Intel drivers, or ACPI bugs? Has anyone had a similar problem?
I'm actively searching the forums and the internet for a solution, but still I can't find any. I'd be very grateful if someone can help me on this!
Thanks in advance,
Filip
