No sound or wireless Gatway MT3707

I have just installed linux mint 4.0 and My sound and wireless internet do not work. I have found a good link that helped ubuntu users but I am unaware of what version they are running and how to convert the solution int linux mint.

You have an ATI chipset
I'll have to look a bit deeper for the solution to the sound problems but wifi should be fairly straight forward. You have a RTL-8185 and it should work with ndiswrapper. So find your Windows drivers (they should be on a CD that you got with the laptop) and follow the wiki
