Rotated Terminal, dialogs with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200

Postby BLaZuRE on Mon Apr 30, 2012 7:17 pm

So I installed Mint 12. Currently, terminal, dialogs, dropdowns, tooltips, etc. strangely rotate at roughly 30 degrees, so I have to rotate my head to somewhat read the contents. Windows, desktop, and menus seem to do fine. I've tried uninstalling the proprietary drivers and have also tried reinstalling and using the proprietary drivers to no avail (via the Hardware Drivers window).

The terminal seems to sometimes turn right-side-up when I focus it or start typing in it, but sometimes glitches back.

Anyone have any troubleshooting ideas? It is really annoying. Thank you.
