LG surf [km570]

Hi, I'm italian so i apologize if I made some incorrect traslation.
I've got a problem with my mobile phone, an LG SURF KM570.
When I connect it to my computer[a Packard Bell Easynote TJ61, linux mint 10 Julia, Debian] with a USB cable and i select on my mobile the "memory mass" option he takes a lot of time [even half hour!] to open the folder, sometimes i can't even explore it!
Sometimes it let me copy in my mobile memory 2-3 files [one by one or it freeze], sometimes it just freeze giving me I/O error and i have to restart my mobile because it freeze too...
Obviouly Mint doesn't let me install "Lg Suite" using WINE.
Is there a way to let me copy files in my mobile so i don't have to use windows?
