Regd Sony-VAIO touc-pad compatibility with LinuxMint

Hi..
I have installed LinuxMint 10 (Julia), along a-side with windows-7(Ultimate 64 bit) into my Sony-Vaio Lappy, model: Sony-Vaio E- Series VPCEB32EN with configuration details as follows
Intel Core i3 Processor,
2GB RAM,
320GB HD.
My problem is that after successful installation of LinuxMint 10 into my lappy everything else but touch-pad, is working.
I don't know whether the touch-pad driver isn't compatible with Linux.. Since it works very fine with windows-7.
