Well as the title says, I have no sound in linux mint 12 (I have dual partition in xp, the sound card sounds perfect, so hardware is not). probe and the alsamixer, give m to remove mute, give arrows, turn off multi rate, f6 for selecting the sound card, etc ... eye am no expert on linux rather go every few years trying to see if this mature and give change, but apparently not. linux are not, yet.


I did several tests, formatting and installing sabayon 8 amd 64, kubuntu 12.4, opensuse 12 (not even finish the installation), mandriva one, etc. .. in about xD I detected the wifi ubs tplink 821, if you grab the other mono sound but -. - goodbye then to restart sound. I think it's something in the last linux kernel. but again I'm no expert, and the idea of ​​being putting code like in MS DOS 6.2, at this point does not attract me xD. and update the driver for the security deposit or packages like someone to call and nothing xD. if anyone has managed to assemble sound in linux with this sound card, I would like to know.

Pues como el titulo lo dice, no tengo sonido en linux mint 12 (tengo dual particion en xp, la tarjeta de sonido suena perfecto, así que hardware no es). ya probe lo de alsamixer, darle m para quitar mute, darle flechas, apagar prender multi rate, f6 para selecionar la tarjeta de sonido, etc... ojo no soy experto en linux, más bien cada ciertos años voy probando para ver si esta maduro y dar el cambio, pero por lo visto no. linux no lo esta, aun.


hice varias pruebas, formateando e instalando sabayon 8 amd 64, kubuntu 12.4, opensuse 12 (ni si quiera termino la instalación), mandriva one, etc.. en unos xD no me detectaba el usb wifi tplink 821, en otros si agarraba el sonido pero en mono -.-, luego al reiniciar adios sonido. me parece que es algo en la kernel de los ultimos linux. pero repito no soy experto, y la idea de estar metiendo codigo como en el ms dos 6.2, a estas alturas xD no me atrae. ya actualice por el deposito los driver o paquetes como quieran llamarlos y nada xD. si alguien a logrado montar sonido en linux con esta tarjeta de sonido, me gustaría saberlo.


esperemos, que algun día la comunidad linux entienda, que minetras se tenga que hechar una sola linea de codigo, sudo bla bla, para hacer una tarea tan sencilla como abri un mezclador, nunca atraeran al usuario promedio, el usuario promedio no quiere saber de eso, por moda ? flojera ? todo lo que ustedes quieran pero es la triste realidad, POR CIERTO: PROBE EL WINEX CON ATLANTICA ONLINE, COSMIC BREAK, RUNES OF MAGIC, y funcionaron perfecto, hasta ganaron 2 o 3 fps de velocidad, comparandolo con window xp y 7 x64, lastima que sin sonido.


seguire viendo si logro, hacer funcionar el sonido, si no ni modo a formatear esa particion, y más espacio XD para windows xp .
