I installed the package, tried typing "spotread", but my DTP94B is not being recognised. It very briefly was (now lost off the top of the buffer), but now no joy.
As detailed in http://www.argyllcms.com/doc/Installing_Linux.html, I tried copying the /lib/udev/rules.d/55-Argyll.rules file (placed there by the package install) to /etc/udev/rules.d/55-Argyll.rules (as root), but that has made no difference.
I realise that DTP94B is not quite DTP94, but was hoping it was sufficiently similar to work.
When I run "sudo udevadm monitor" I get the following only after plugging it in:
- Code: Select all
monitor will print the received events for:
UDEV - the event which udev sends out after rule processing
KERNEL - the kernel uevent

Any ideas on how to get this working? Should 55-Argyll.rules be named 99-Argyll.rules to get the right precedence?
