Trackpad and Keyboard on Macbook with Linux Mint

Postby lolatodorov on Sat May 12, 2012 3:46 pm

Hello,

I'm kind of new to Linux so I was hoping you could help me. I just installed Linux Mint on my Macbook, but wasn't able to configure my keyboard correctly - most of the keys work, but the Alt key is of no use. I also can't use my laptop's trackpad. Is there any way to solve this?

Thank you,

Lola Todorov

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacBook this is the MacBook 2,1 (the mid 2007 model). That model number should also be on the down side of the Mac.

Please post the output of these commands in terminal:
Code: Select all

It's supposed to work right with Linux.

That was a fast reply. You are using Mint 12?
