Hi, today buy notebook HP Pavilion dv6-6c32er B3B88EA, trying to install Mint Lisa, get the issue with black screen at the installation like here- viewtopic.php?f=49&t=79160&start=0 but when i promt nomodeset acpi=off option i get only command line after some system messages (about starting services, etc...) Is there are any solution?
Now trying to start RHEL 5.5 installation- all ok, installation is started
Mint DVD is good, tested on another machine today (with ubuntu 11.10 have same issue)

also tryed many other options like:
nomodest
radeon.modeset=0
vga=ask
...etc...
No results

Yeah I have an idea. I had a issue like this on BackTrack Linux that nothing would work. Finally I found the issue. Give me some time and I'll hunt the link down that fixed the issue for me. May take a day or two though because it took me about that to originally find it to begin with lol
