CD/DVD Drive writes only once

I installed Mint on my Compaq laptop, and downloaded a couple files, and burned a CD using the native burner.

I have not been able to write another, since, I get "failed to write" errors. The CD/DVD burner is fine, under the Windows Dual Boot it works perfectly. And I can read from it. And play back from it.

Help, anyone!

Install Brasero it's a much better burner application or k3b if you're in KDE
