USB Headset (Turtle Beach Ear Force PX3)

Postby alasdairdc on Wed Jun 06, 2012 10:59 pm

Having problems getting the PX3 to work.

The headset works fine with the wireless module plugged in, however the issue occurs when plugging the headset in directly to the USB. The wireless box will ultimately be plugged into another machine but I wanted to just plug it in directly when on another machine. This setup does work on other OSes.

dmesg output for headset connected directly:
Code: Select all

lsusb output for wireless box connected

I am using a full usb cable when connecting the headset directly and not the supplied charge-only cable. Running Mint 13 64-bit (Mate version) on a Sony VAIO VPCEB1Z0E/B.

If anyone has already managed to get this to work, knows roughly what to do or who to contact to get this working please do let me know.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this and any help given is greatly appreciated,
Alasdair.
