Hello
I'm sorry, could you help me to install drivers for hardware. (Laptop ASUS, LinuxMint Dryna)
1. driver for usb-wifi adapter. Instalation manual includes this instruction:
--------
For 2.6 series kernel:
a. go to 'STA/Module' directory.
run 'cp Makefile.6 Makefile'
b. $make all
c. cp rt73.bin /etc/Wireless/RT73STA/ # copy firmware
d. run '/sbin/insmod rt73.ko' (as root)
'/sbin/ifconfig rausb0 inet YOUR_IP up'
-------
I`m new with this procedure and do not know what should i do.
2. Driver for AverMedia usb-tv tuner.
I downloaded the instalation file with *.sh extention from the AverMedia site, but when I executed this file, program writes that it needs /lib/modules/2.6.22-14.generic/source.
Catalogue /source does not exist there.
Program requests kernel-source and kernel-devel
What shoul I do?
I`ve red a lot of manuals but did not find the solution.
Be so kind - step by step for this two problems.
Sorry and thank you in advance.
