Dymo Labelwriter 400 Cups issues

Dymo Labelwriter 400 worked under Mint 12 x64 Cinnamon. Clean install of Mint 13 x64 Cinnamon and carrying out viewtopic.php?f=49&t=104186&p=589259&hilit=dymo#p589259 got it working yesterday. However, CUPS update today it's back to not working and yesterdays fix also doesn't work. The CUPS server log is saying

Updated CUPS to 1.5.3. gLabels still at 2.2.8. Dymo can print test page from localhost:631, Mint Settings and can print from LibreOffice. However, I can't print anything to any printer from gLabels. When trying to print to the Dymo printer CUPS states "Unable to open raster file - : Success".

I can't use Mint to print labels anymore as I can't find a package, free or otherwise that works.

It's coming up to Xmas, I NEED this printer to work. It used to about 6 months ago with Mint 12 but no longer with Mint 13. Is it Mint, Cups or gLabels? As Cups (prints a test page ok) and Libre Office can print to the printer it MUST be gLabels that's the issue. How can we get this fixed. How do we contact gLabels and are they interested?

VERY frutrated.

GLabels is still totally useless as an app printing to the Dymo Labelwriter 400 under Mint 13 Cinnamon x64. It seems the version in the repos is 2.2.8 yet the latest stable version for Gnome 3 is 3.0.1. Is there any chance this could be put in the repos so the less confident of us could have the benefits? I really don't want to have to compile the source code.
