laptop freeze cause of Paowersaved...

Hello everybody,

I just download Linux Mint 4 CE and trying to install in a laptop ACER 1601LC Pentium 4 2.4. Running the Live CD, everything works great for...3 minutes.After the whole system froze.I found out that in the system services, have a service named Powersaved, that is the one that create the problem. It gives this message:

FATAL:Error inserting speedstep_centrino
(/lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/kernel/arch/i386/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/speedstep-centrino.ko): No such device

I try to stop this service, but gives me fail...

One last thing..i don´t have centrino!!! For sure there start the whole issue but i don t now how to change it and even if i found out, i have just 3 minutes till the machine freeze to stop this service...

...after doing ctrl+alt+F2 i saw this message:

Buffer I/O error on device sr0. logical block 333180

This message never stops, is counting down numbers and goes on.....
