Scanner not working since samsungmfp update

Hi,

I am new to these forums. Have been using Mint 11 for some time now. And has been working sweetly with a Xerox Workcentre PE220 MFP.

Sometime in the last few days I noticed the the samsung mfp drivers were updated.

Since then when I start xsane, it says there are no scanners found.

Can anyone help me with uninstalling the recently installed updates, or now if there is a fix around the corner?

As this is the last month in which you have support on Linux Mint 11, I'd recommend trying Linux Mint 13 instead and see if that works with your Xerox. Linux Mint 13 is supported till April 2017.
