Unable to dock D830 to Port Replicator (HD062)

Hello,

I am new to Linux Mint, and just made the switch from Windows 7. I have not used a UNIX-like operating system in years, so please bear with me. Fortunately, I was able to locate and enable the firmware for wireless activity on my own. What I am having difficulty with is docking my Latitude D830 to the Advanced Port Replicator (HD062). I am able to reach the BIOS (Version A09) screen, but cannot get past it while docked. This being the case, I'm uncertain if it is a firmware issue, or a setting within BIOS itself. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!
