Mouse frozen at login screen

Postby alirio on Wed Oct 31, 2012 5:49 pm

Hello all,

Lately my mouse began to be blocked as soon as the login screen appears. I use a Logitech M705 wireless mouse with a small usb transmitter. The work around so fare has been unplugging the usb transmitter and replugging it to the same port. The mouse will turn immediately operable again. It does not matter if I unplug/replug before or after the login, the mouse stays inactive until I do unplug/replug. The mouse has a HW-Switch to turn it on/off but this has no effect on the described behavior. I was not able to determine if this had to do anything with an recent update.

anyone an idea or suggestion? I am afraid I couldn't find any useful information so far.

Maybe useful:
I run Linux Mint 13 64bit with Cinnamon on a ZBOX-ID80
