A few days ago i decided to try out Linux Mint for the first time, everythings gone smoothly except i cant get the MBP's internal microphone to be recognised. In the input panel of the sound preferences the device list is empty! It looks like this:
Does anyone know what i need to do in order to get the microphone recognised? Are there drivers i need to install or something? I've tried searching but all the solutions seem already assume the mic is recognised as a device! Any help would be really appreciated as i need it for Skype which is critical for my work! Thanks a million.
P.S. im using Linux Mint 14, 64bit, cinnamon edition, on a MacBookPro4,1 2007 model. Thanks again!
