I on my desktop am in need of wireless internet acess.
I have a Trendnet model Tew-684 but can not find a driver to make it work.
What can I do do get it working?
Your help would be greatly apreciated.

(the one saying rt3573)
Please repost no matter whether you're successful or in trouble as I consider to buy the device, too.
If you're not successful it might be you've got to add the device id to the driver. We'll have to figure out when you've tried.

recommends another, yet older driver. I'd recommend the first one.

I downloaded the file but do not know what to do with it.
I am new to Linux and greatly appreciate your time.
I hope we can both get this to work.

enter
tar xjvf 20120911_RT3573_Linux_STA_v2.5.0.0_Rev1_DPO.tar.bz2
cd 20120911_RT3573_Linux_STA_v2.5.0.0_Rev1_DPO/

as root, enter
make
and
make install
then try
modprobe rt3573sta

if the device works, fine
if not post your log files (/var/log/messages)
