Just to let you all know im a rookie to linux. I did some research to my problem but i couldn't find the same problem.
My problem is i got a 26 inch LCD that is recognized by linux and all resolutions working fine with it. The screen is nicely filled in all corners. Now i got a 42 inch TV that is connect with HDMI but I also tried with VGA. The problem is that my screen dont fit the screen with HDMI or VGA cable. I tried all different resolution but nothing is working. I also unplugged the other monitor and tried dual-monitor. Nothing is working to display my screen correct on the TV. I already tried different ATI 5870 drivers. I saw if you detect the screen that is says a panasonic 32 inch is connected but this should be a 42 inch. I wonder if this is the problem and what can i do to solve this issue? Its really annying to not see anything fro you bars
About sound and hdmi i dont need that im using coax just incase someone things about that :>and uhm yeh xD in windows it works XD so the screen isnt broken
