Black screen on Samsung 913v

I'm running in Mint 14 Maya and have a Samsung 913v Syncmaster that only shows a black screen after being left off (a flashing power light) with the comp on or off.I'm thinking its in power save mode but it wont wake up.Pressing ramdom keys doesn't work moving the mouse wont wake it up.My guessing is it's a driver problem.( I have xfx mobo).

I solved this problem by installing mint 13.It seems to be a Mint 14 problem,most likely caused by the noveau driver in version 14.
