**NEWBIE ALERT** Just a friendly warning before I start blowing up this forum. On a scale of 1-10, I am a 3.14159 when it comes to Linux. I decided to roll with Linux for numerous reasons: sick of Windows and to learn a new OS a couple of them.
My hardware listing is below (inxi -Fc 0). Everything after FAILED is in RED. I have two outputs on my video card; my 2nd display is not showing up in the display menu (System Settings --> Displays). Also, my system makes sound upon boot, but when watching videos in any format, I get nothing.

Re: Sound and Display issues; hardware output attached
Partially fixed! The sound is working through the built-in audio controller; apparently the system settings were on the NVIDIA card, which only allow HDMI output for sound...
Halfway home...now to get the 2nd monitor to display. I'm 99% sure it's a driver issue based on the failed alert from the inxi output. The NVIDIA website doesn't resolve a driver for my specific GPU. I read through the thread that mclovin created about installing drivers from their website directly; but I can't get NVIDIA to provide a driver for the 650 card on 64-bit Linux.
