Asus+Skype+Upside Down Cam with Linux Mint 14

Guys/Gals, I really need help here.

I have an Asus K52F laptop.Unfortunately for me, the cam is mounted upside down (literally) in the laptop itself. Using Linux-Mint 14, I've tried every suggestion and every reply to correct this problem to no avail. Is there no one simple solution - a one step by step procedure that works perfectly every time . . . on every system? Cheese presents the cam correctly but Flash and Skype are upside down.

This is the only negative drawback I have with using Linux Mint 14 and believe me, it's so frustrating.
