I've just installed Linux Mint 14 on my wife's notebook HP Probook 4540s (Celeron, Intel HD Video). Mostly everything is working OK and my wife is happy working on Linux (and I don't want Linux disappoint her
).Currently there are two problems:
- suspend/resume: suspend to RAM works OK but resume fails - notebook freezes after showing the desktop. Hibernation and resume from it works OK. I tested also Ubuntu 12.04 LTS from Live CD and suspend/resume is working on it OK.
- the notebook is quickly getting hot (in the lower-left corner). I didn't noticed it in SLED 11.2 previously installed on this notebook.
