Hi to everybody,
I am new and I've just installed on my pc Mint Nadia 14 Cinnamon 32 bit distro, I have a problem to scan on my
HP CM 1312 MPS Printer.
Nadia recognize the printer immediatly but when I run Simple Scan I have a result of "IMPOSSIBLE TO RECOGNIZE SCANNER". That's strange cause on Synaptic I can see that HPLIP drivers are correctly installed and updated.
On HP site I have found only a complete driver for my printer dedicated to print and to scan, so I don't know if the problem is on the drivers or in the software of Simple Scan.
Someone knows what can I do to solve the problem to scan?

Try to reinstall simple scan.

Try installing sane.

I have a D-110 HP printer and simple scan works fine.

Warning: my printer is wireless. I can print all via wifi, BUT I can't scanner nothing (simple scan don't recognize it).

When I need to scan I plug the usb cable.
