Hi Guys.
I'm really stuck with this one, I'm running Mint 14 Cinnamon on a fairly new machine ( toshiba satellite l750 ) 6gb ram 650 gb hdd. The problem is that when I transfer a file ( let's say a movie of 1gb ) to a usb stick, the file transfers at up to 64mb a second, when the progress bar has reached 95 - 99% the process just seems to stop or freeze. I have tried leaving it alone to see if it will finish but it doesn't, when the usb is ejected and re inserted the file is not there, eventhough when it has been ejected I get a message telling me that the process has been completed, If I transfer small files, pictures for example there seems to be no problem at all, Transferring large files FROM the usb to the Hdd is no problem, there are no problems with any of my usb ports or my usb sticks.
Many thanks.
