Dell XPS 15Z not running Mint14 very well

Unfortunately Mint14 did not work too well on a Dell i7 laptop
* Broken/Misinterpreted DSDT tables
* ACPI not working
* Laptop only boots once out of 3 attempts.
To fix these issues, the usual method is it add a NOACPI option in the kernel command line... This works fine if you dont want to use your laptop for a long time as the power consumption is high (7hrs on Mint13... 2.5hrs on Mint14)
The hanging is also due to the graphics card and a modeswitch. No idea why it doesnt hang after 3 boots.
