Mint 14 - Sleep button causes fault

Hi everyone!
I'm not sure if I post to correct forum, but I have recently upgraded from 13 to 14 (completely reinstalled), 32bit, MATE. Now I have faced serious for me problem - after I press sleep button - machine seems to be going into sleep, seems to be nothing unordinary. But when I press any key to wake up, the whole screen is covered in mess, and it goest to cli and writes that something happened to nouveau driver and it stopped responding. After reboot everything is back to normal, until I press sleep button. Usually I used sleep button a lot, I need it badly, what should I do? In case it matters I have a laptop acer aspire 7720G.

P. S. > Tried installing proprietary driver and all available updates from system updates, still same.
