ATI Radeon mobility x1600 in Elyssa

Postby Raid0r on Wed May 14, 2008 9:13 pm

I know that Elyssa is still in beta, but i am sure this problem could be solved despite of that.

After using envy to install my drivers, i came across a problem upon reboot. My resolution is way too low!
My monitor is capable of 1024X768... i am getting 640X480... what can i do to fix this problem?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

So I take it that Envy installed the fglrx driver. It should have configured your screen resolution for you. Look at /etc/X11/xorg.org and add your resolution to the display.

I have ATI x1400 on my Thinkpad T60, the ATI drivers are buggy so I use vesa instead.
