Support for BLINK mobile broadband modem

Postby derek_luigi on Sun Feb 10, 2013 7:44 pm

Glad to find a Linux distrib which includes mobile broadband support. Telstra stick works fine, but although BLINK is listed in the mobile broadband listbox Mint 14 doesnt recognise it. Any ideas? (Bear in mind that I'm a newbie!)

Is anybody out there? This post has been in for a long time, and its had over 60 views, so some of them must be interested in an answer. Is there no solution to this problem? Is Linux so lame that it cant handle a commercial modem providor? Tried several flavours of Linux, none can use my BLINK modem. Maybe Linux should be put in the bit bucket along with all the nerds, and computers given over to Windows??

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
