DVD Drive Not Burning

I have an asus G74sx. DVD drive quit reading or writing. Installed new panasonic uj240 bluray. I cannot burn images to disc. Device will start burning and after 2-3 % will quit and disc is not reusable. Below is the error message I get when it quits. Can anyone help?
