Microphone Problems

Hey All,

I'm having some trouble with my HDA Intel Microphone here is my dmesg | grep HDA output to help

I have a Toshiba NB250-107 Netbook running LM 14 xfce I've tried various fixes etc removing pulse, alsa adding just one of them and nothing seems to work, I hope somebody can help me with this as i'm starting to grind my teeth about it, oh and this only seems to affect the microphone not the sound of everything else if I unmute either internal or external microphone all I get is white noise or a high ptiched noise if I unmute them separately the same thing happens.
