ata-id[131]: HDIO_GET_IDENTITY failed for "/dev/sdf": invali

Hello,

I recently installed linux mint and find it really impressive. All my hardware is recognized and didn't need to manually install driver for anything.
However, at every boot up following message comes up on the screen and stays for 10 seconds before OS is loaded.
It's annoying and I want to get rid of it if possible. If anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know.

It's external 2TB HDD connected by USB2.0.

Thanks!

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
