I bought ASUS N56VZ (i7, 16GB RAM, Intel HD4000 + GeForce 650M using BumbleBee). I used Linux Mint since 12 realease in all my pc's. I loved it.. But now with N56VZ I have some issues..
For external subwoofer i added this line:
- Code: Select all
options snd-hda-intel model=asus-mode4
to the file:
- Code: Select all
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
Subwoofer now works, but it works like a speaker, not like a subwoofer. Anyone know how to make it just a subwoofer, not speaker?
Strange part starts here... If i have plugged in charger, i can work with my pc, listen to music etc.. When i use my battery, sound disapears. There is no sound, and to enable it after plugging in the charger i have to reboot.
If i close the lid and open it, the brithness of the screen is on the minimum. I have to change the brithness each time i open the lid. (Quick keys for screen is not working).
Can someone help me to deal with those problems?
Thank you in advance.
