Problems adding Brother MFC-420cn printer

Hi there everyone!

I've got a Brother MFC-420cn combo printer deal. I've used it in linux before but am unable to get it recognized in Mint 14.

I've gone to the Brother driver site and installed both the cups wrapper and the lpr driver, then rebooted. In spite of this, when I go to add a new printer via the GUI, it sees it, but I am unable to find a usable driver for it. Searching fails and it's not been added to the list of drivers available.

Could someone tell me what I need to do to get it working? Thanks for your time!
